So Here We Are

With just 27 days left until the World Cup I thought I would post my thoughts on this years competition. With 32 teams all competing for that dream moment of lifting the World Cup for you country no wonder the hype is everywhere. I have noticed that flags have been going up in and around my town, not just English ones either, there have been a few Spanish flags and also a South Africa one.

The world cup runs from 11th June - 11th July in which there are 48 Group stage matches and 15 Finals stages, that is 63 games of football in one month. For those of you that love football this is heaven, perhaps not so for those that don't enjoy the beautiful game. Even so, during the World Cup everyone gets behind their country, you can throw parties, have a BBQ, or just simply chill out at home or the pub and watch the game. It is a wonderful occasion where everyone unites as one to watch their team go through the ups and downs of the World Cup.

Just a quick taster of what the World Cup is about, I will be giving my opinions on the World Cup, in particular focussing on the England team, ranting on how good/bad our performances may be.
